Woodbridge School
is a co-educational day school of over 950 pupils between the ages of four and eighteen, whose Senior School of 650 includes a boarding house for 50 pupils from 13+. As a member of HMC, it has the imprimatur of being one of the top schools in the country, and is governed by The Seckford Foundation whose origins can be traced back to the sixteenth century.

A well rounded education is not solely based on exam. Hence our broad programme of sports, arts, activities, music and an exceptional international cultural exchange programme.
Woodbridge School & Sixth Form Ages 11-18

The curriculum at Woodbridge combines breadth with a strong focus on the major academic disciplines. It aims to provide each child with the essential intellectual skills needed for later study, including the ability to think critically and logically, whilst still capturing the imagination and allowing for diversity of interests.

Supporting the curriculum, the Cultural Studies Programme draws on literature, art, music, film and theatre, and takes students well beyond the National Curriculum. An integrated ICT programme underpins all subjects.

A Learning Support scheme helps pupils across the academic spectrum Ė from those who are highly gifted to those who need extra assistance in class. The well-proven tutor system identifies each pupilís aptitudes and abilities, encouraging them to make the most of the opportunities offered.

Sixth Form Plus
Woodbridge Sixth Form is a stimulating mixture of students who have been educated at the School and many new faces who join us after GCSEs taken elsewhere.

Predominantly a day school, but with boarding for 50 students, Woodbridge Sixth Form combines academic excellence with an unrivalled range of activities that are designed with one single purpose - to prepare our students to their best possible advantage for their futures.

Every student has a Personal Tutor who supports and guides, integrating independent study and research with lectures, and into course frameworks. We coach our students in essential skills that will last a lifetime: independence, confidence, leadership, inter-personal abilities and an enthusiasm for life that evokes a creative, entrepreneurial spirit.

Our new Sixth Form Centre is truly remarkable. Its contemporary architecture reflects state-of-the art teaching facilities including lecture rooms, study areas and a reference library - all adjacent to the social and recreational facilities that are an integral part of Sixth Form life. Itís a busy, happy place, buzzing with motivated young adults who enjoy lively friendships, many of which will last for years.
