Weingut Staffelter Hof is a family run boutique winery set in the picturesque Moselle Valley in southwest Germany. With a range of luxurious accommodation and a regular program of local wine festivals and cultural events you are guaranteed a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. Local sport and leisure facilities include golf, watersports and the newly renovated swimming pool as well as day trips to the Roman city of Trier and Bernkastel Kues; or simply enjoy a glass of wine with a superb view of the vineyard terraces.

Whether you are an experienced wine enthusiast or an eager beginner our private wine tasting sessions are the perfect way to gain an insight into the somewhat undiscovered world of German viticulture. From our extensive and innovative selection of red and dry white wines to the traditional sweet Riesling you are sure to find a wine to suit your unique tastes.

Believed to be the oldest winery in Germany, Staffelter Hof has a rich and compelling history beginning as early as 862 AD. It was donated by King Lothars II to a monastery in what is now the Belgian town of Stavelot. Commandeered from the monastery by Emperor Napoleon during secularisation, it was bought by then manager Peter Schneiders, the ancestor of the Klein family in which it has remained to this day.

Within 15 minutes of Frankfurt (Hahn) Airport (served by Ryanair) Staffelter Hof is easily accessible and airport transfers are available at your request.
